Three days, five days, ten? No matter your length of stay at the Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Village and Spa one challenge you will face upon arrival at this resort is how to navigate the 19 distinct restaurants and bars available at this all-inclusive property. With choices ranging from gourmet made to order breakfasts on the beach, to Indian, Sushi, Jerk Chicken, Seafood or Japanese, there is truly something to please every palate. But where to start? I’m here to help! Without further ado, here are my five top choices for restaurants you don’t want to miss when on vacation at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Village and Spa.
Number 1: Breakfast!
For our family the objective each day is to get to the beach as quickly as possible. For this reason alone my top choice for breakfast each day is the simply unforgettable buffet fare they serve up at The Bayside Restaurant. Located in the Key West Village, this breakfast includes a huge array of pastries, french toast, pancakes, hot oatmeal, breads, fruits, bacon and sausage not to mention the made to order omelettes. Table side; you are offered fresh juices, teas and Blue Mountain coffee. Your server even leaves you the pot of coffee. All of this with a stunning view of the beach and ocean. It might be the perfect place to plan your morning and kick off your day.
Number 2: The Jerk Shack!
One of the newest additions to the property, the Jerk Shack is located at the far end of the Caribbean Village, on Treasure Beach, and it is not to be missed. As you sit at picnic tables under the palm trees with your cold bevy of choice you can indulge in some of the spiciest, most unforgettable and authentic Jamaican Jerk chicken, pork or fish right out of the tinfoil it was cooked in. Don’t forget to add that jerk sauce and save room for the sweet festivals and sweet potatoes on the side. Oh My Yum!
Number 3: Ginos! It’s a Pizzeria serving honest to goodness brick oven pizza! Why is this one on my list? This one is for the teens. Ok, maybe it’s for me too. Gino’s is the little Italian place tucked almost beside the water park. Our favourite trick for this restaurant? Take out! Place that order for a personal sized wood fired pizza “to go”, maybe even add a side Caesar Salad and come back and pick it up about 20 minutes later. This is the perfect pool side lunch or even a great late afternoon snack.
Number 4: Arizona’s: Southwestern Cuisine with an ocean view! Do you have a steak lover in your house. What about Tortilla Soup, Enchiladas, BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Chicken Tacos or Quesadillas? Then don’t miss Arizona’s for dinner. Start your meal out with some tex-me style appetizers before you move on to the main event, that steak. May I recommend the filet. And while your there, don’t miss dessert!
Number 5: Kimonos
This one requires reservations. Brush up on your chopstick skills and bring your camera because Kimonos is more that just a dinner; it’s dinner and a show! Once seated at your table kick back, relax and prepare to enjoy a true evening of entertainment. Not only is this Asian inspired food fantastic, but the singing is pretty good too. Yes, there will be singing, and maybe even a little dancing! Did I mention your scrumptious dinner is cooked on a flat surface grill right in front of you? Insider Tip: Make reservations for Kimonos the day you arrive, this is one restaurant that fills up fast.
Bonus Recommendations:
**Do not miss the Cafe de Paris. Serving delicate desserts, pastries and all manner of specialty coffees it’s the perfect place to take the family and pick up that treat and coffee to kick off the day ,or my favourite, before retiring to your room for the evening. Insider Tip: Don’t miss the Beaches Caramel ~ served both hot and iced!
**Every night a little newsletter will be slipped under your door announcing the special events for the upcoming days. Some of these events include the “White Party” where you don your best white attire and partake in a delectable array of chocolate fondue and desserts. Another is the Beach Party. Although not my favourite night food wise (a large buffet) there is great entertainment and you cannot beat the beach front atmosphere. Eating with your feet in the sand while you enjoy a live stage show, all those Sesame Street Characters and a stunning sunset. Surreal.
This list but scratches the surface of the many fantastic restaurants at the Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Village and Spa. Overall, I promise you will be pleasantly surprised with the warm service, quality of food and variety of cuisine available at this first class resort. Explore, enjoy and I hope you soon have your own top picks!

The Cafe de Paris sounds like my kind of a venue. Coffee and bread-like things are the perfect food for all time.
