It started out innocently enough..
Just 1 arrowroot cookie. Okay so it was before my morning coffee. Don’t judge.
Had that healthy tasteless oatmeal for breakfast, side of fruit.
But then…it was all downhill from there.
Bacon and Tomato Sandwich. With EXTRA Mayo.
Just a couple of chocolate chips. I don’t know why?
Homemade Mac and Cheese for Dinner. Heavy on the cream and heavy on the cheese glorious cheese. Hey, that’s what the kids were having and I was too tired to make a different meal for me.
Then a coke. It’s been SOOOO LONG since I have indulged in a coke! Why did I crack open that coke?
When you are having a pop you must also have….
Popcorn
AND Extra Butter. Not that healthy “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” butter. Real Butter.
Crap. Who left the box of Macaroons right here on the kitchen counter.
They might go stale. Can’t let them go to waste.
Yeah, clearly I’m not an emotional eater.
Someone stop me.
Sigh. Tomorrow is another day.

mmmmmmm it sounded worth falling off the wagon, if i tend to ‘fall off’ i also do it in style lol! x
Sara @ Domestically Challenged says
I had to stop reading after the chocolate chips. I was going to fall off the wagon myself! However? I firmly believe we all need days like that sometimes!
Loukia says
Oh don’t feel bad! What you just described is me on a regular day, seriously, argh! I love off Diet Pepsi. And I need popcorn… and arrowroot cookies are for babies, so they have to be good for us, right? 😉 And how can you have a sandwich without the extra mayo? Mmm, now you’re making me hungry!
Lady Mama says
I can find excuses for everything. I love coke. Eating popcorn without the extra butter is just not right. And the macaroni – well who has the energy at the end of the day to make a separate meal? You can’t be good EVERY day – it’s not human!
Busy Bee Suz says
Same boat, different kitchen. UGGHHHH…what is wrong with us?
Lizz says
Mine is usually a landslide of sugary carbs and baked goods. *sigh*
Why do we do it to ourselves?
Swoozie says
Annnnnndddddd……
I’m grabbing your awesome button!
Swoozie says
Sometimes that is all it takes is that one innocent cookie and WHAM! I’m off the wagon as well. Why oh why is that??
PS ~~~ LOVE your new look! Love It!
Buckeroomama says
Haha, I said “pop” in reference to Coke and my friends here gave me a weird look and asked me what was “pop.” 🙂
kimert says
Bacon, did you say bacon??? where???
LOL
I’ve had an off week myself. I haven’t indulged in “no no” foods but what I have done is NOT get in all my 6 small meals and food each day. I’ve done poorly with my meal planning and my running has sucked. Ugh. I don’t even want to talk about my water consumption (or lack thereof).
Randi Troxell says
honey… i stay off the wagon! lol-
Veronica says
I completely relate. I did that the other day. I was stuffing things in my mouth at random times. It was quite bizarre actually. Here’s to a new day with new willpower!
Martha says
I am right there with you, I so enjoyed my ice cream sundae last night w/whipped cream and hot fudge.
Margo says
Yes, thank goodness for all of us, tomorrow is another day! Don’t beat yourself up. I’m parroting my life coach here and am working on this balance/moderation stuff myself. Getting comfortable throwing out food was huge for me… better to “waste” in the trashcan, locate on hips and thighs. And you clearly needed that real coke.
Marbella Designs says
I hear ya, gotta have that extra mayo to make that dry bread and bacon go down smoothly.
I’m a Seven Up girl, so what I do to take care of that craving is pour some carbonated water (that’s flavored with natural lemon or lime) into OJ or grapefruit juice and it hits the spot.
Now get ahold of yourself woman, tomorrow is…another day hee hee, just kidding, I have those moments too!
