My day begins like many other Mama’s out there. The crazy rush to get the kids out the door. Don’t have a single thing for the kids to eat for lunch cause the sandwich meat just smelled a wee bit funky as I pulled it from the crisper, all the good “school” clothes are somehow still in the laundry basket, and my blackberry is telling me I have to be at a meeting at 9am. This was excellent planning. Not.
We scramble, create a stellar lunch of leftover pasta with a side of “I’m very sorry honey here is a scrumptious chocolate cupcake to make up for it”, and de-wrinkle some clothes in the dryer. I make that meeting, dressed to kill, and no one is the wiser.
How has this happened again?
Oh yes, perhaps part of my issue is the fight for precious computer time. Our family computer, though old, is still one of the most popular places in the house. I have to out fox two computer savvy kids and fight with my Hubby for some quality face to face with that precious keyboard and screen.
How would my life be simpler with an HP Mini 110? Well for one thing I could get in my quality twitter, facebook and blog time at human hours, not the allotted time I have now between the hours of 10pm and 2am!
If I had a beautiful HP Mini to call my very own. I would give her a sweet sweet name like Doris or Bella and love her and care for her like she was one of my own babies. I would never let her get dirty. No sticky fingers covered in jam and peanut butter. I would protect her from my other children. I would even hide her from the great big thumping fingers of my Hubby. She would be mine, all mine. I could keep track of all of my facebook, twitter and bloggy friends! I could write uninterrupted, create schedules, pay bills on time ….the list is endless. Little Bella would make my life lovely. Oh how I long to own a sweet little HP Mini of my very own.
Sigh…….heart rate slowing now.

It would make my life simpler because I wouldn’t have to lug my 5 year old laptop home from work.

I have to do a lot of traveling and I use a friend’s extra laptop while I’m on the road. It would be great if I didn’t have to use his and didn’t have to carry such a big thing through airport security!

Good Luck to you! I blogged & entered, too!
This HP 100 Mini netbook would be a blessing to our family, too, as we only have one old desktop to share amongst our family of 7. We rely heavily on spreadsheets, lists, email and schedules, etc. to streamline our day to day activities, and the portability of the HP 100 mini would make it so effortless and stylish. Plus, mobile computing would be perfect to pass the time–when time seemingly stands still–like when waiting in a doctor’s office!
Good Luck!

It would be great to actually have my own computer with no kids lurking around it.

I would love to win this, everyone in my family has a laptop but me, this little notebook would be a great way to keep organized on the go, there is so much I could do with recipes, patterns, and more if I had a notebook!

I wouldn’t get eye strain and eventually go blind trying to facebook, tweet, and blog on my iPhone. Seriously, if I won one, I could continue to drive my kids places and make dinner from a cookbook. Without it, I may be doomed and so will my family.

What a fab giveaway! I currently use my work computer for personal tasks in the evenings which creates a giant sense of guilt in me. If I had my very own netbook, I would use it for my photography, keep it in my kitchen for online recipes, and of course sit on my couch and read/write blogs… All guilt free!

An HP Mini 110 would simplify my life by allowing me to keep up with all of my computer activities (blogging, emailing, entering contests, social networking, surfing the Internet, etc.) when I’m not able to be on my laptop (which just so happens to be an HP) for whatever reason. With 4 kids, the reason I’m not able to be on my laptop could be anything! :O

A mini would definitely simplify my life because I wouldn’t have to lug around that heavy laptop anymore! And it would fit inside my handbag instead of being so conspicuous in a carry around laptop bag. And besides, you don’t always want to carry your laptop with you but leaving it in the car is a direct invitation to thieves to break in and steal it. Being able to carry it in my purse is a major advantage!
