I for one adore Valentine’s Day.
An excuse to sleep in. If I get really lucky, if he wants to get lucky, breakfast in bed.
The joy I get from buying my babies some chocolate and silly stuffed chihuahua puppies.
Countertops covered in home made chocolate cup cakes, pink icing of course.
Little gifts of flowers and candy from Romantic Hubby.
A reminder to slow down and take some time for those you hold dearest.
The problem with Valentine’s Day, what about those St.Valentine forgot this year?
Granny likes my phone call, but misses her husband, gone more then 14 years now.
The holiday shines a bright pink spotlight on my girlfriend struggling with a new separation.
A friend, who is struggling with her health, doesn’t really feel much like embracing the spirit of Cupid this year.
To all of my dear friends not feeling the pink this year.
I wish you chocolate, and warm fuzzy feelings the whole year through…not just on this Hallmark Holiday.
