I have always needed him to be proud of me. I think he is.
Seeing him struggle with pain every day, yet he never complains.
Loving him more because he still flirts with my Mom after 43 years of marriage.
The strongest hands I have ever seen. Hands that can fix things….without duct tape!
Growing up I thought he was the biggest, fiercest protector of them all. Quick to judge any action or boy that I dared to bring home. Now I understand he was just being a parent. A man who was lead by his heart.
An incredible provider, the sweetest Grandpa.
Turns out I will always be a Daddy’s Girl.
Happy Fathers Day.
