Yes, you read that right. It is not even a real word, but it is how I feel. I do not like you instant fall asleepers. You know who you are, you know who I mean. The people who put their heads down on the pillow and are instantly asleep! This may be just a teeny bit directed at my Hubby. So, who exactly do you think you are, and how the hell do you do this???
How do you stop the whirling thoughts of the day from swirling around in your head?
Do you not have a single ache or pain that keeps you awake for even a moment?
Don’t you ever remember that you forgot to start the dishwasher and have to get up and start it?
Don’t you ever worry that you forgot to lock the back door and have to run down and check it?
Am I really the only one who forgets to put the laundry in the dryer? Can’t leave that in there over night. Super stinky.
Did the girls pack their stuff for cheerleading? Is your first appointment tomorrow at 9AM or 9:30? It makes a difference. Are we almost out of dog food? What are you going to make for sides at Christmas dinner this year? Oh my gosh there are so many Christmas gifts left to buy!! What on earth am I going to wear to the Christmas party on Saturday night. Will it ever stop snowing?
Sigh. Yep. I hate you instant fall asleepers.
Pass the wine. Maybe that will help.
Psst. One more thing keeping me awake! I don’t think you entered my giveaway yet! It ends at 5pm today! Winner announced tomorrow. 2 prizes. One for your pet worth $150.00 Come see!

If I am super exhausted, I can do this, but not often!

I always wonder this, how ppl can fall asleep so quickly. I am usually in bed around 11:30 and I am usually looking at the clock until 1:30 -2. I end up watching TV or something because I just can’t sleep like these ‘instant sleepers’. Every morning I regret it, but by the time night comes I forgot about how I was feeling in the morning!
Have a good day.

I can’t fall asleep like that at all!! I think the only times that it has happened has been when I’ve been exhausted and haven’t slept well for days!

It usually means I ate something too late — that always keep me up. Either that, or I enjoyed a nap during the day.

I’m right there with you! My husband falls asleep as his head is on the way to the pillow. I, however, think about almost everything on you pointed out (especially the laundry. I’m terrible about that!!) and then fall asleep 45 minutes later in the middle of making a grocery list in my head.

I hate that too! Every man I have ever been with has been this way:( I would still be chatting along (probably rambling about the days events) and I look over to find out I had been talking to myself for the last 10 minutes.
I toss, turn, and think for at least an hour (usually way more) before I fall asleep. And here lately, I have been jerking awake, if I nod off, after about 10-15 mintues, then the cycle starts again!

maybe he he wasn’t digging quite so much snow he wouldn’t be quite so tired! Tomorrow you do the digging and let him do the worrying!

Oh I hate instant fall asleepers too. I can remember my ex used to sleep the minute his head hit the pillow, very irritating.

I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve fallen asleep before my husband. Truly, boys are being honest when you ask them what they’re thinking. Nothing. It’s really nothing.

I think I’m a fall asleeper sometimes when I’m really exhausted and tired. But hubby is more of a sleep addict- yeah, that’s my term bec. he’s always sleepy and has the time to take a nap (maybe call him a napper) while I’m busy cleaning. 🙁
well that’s the difference between the husband and wife.

Word! It takes multiple tries for my ‘going to bed’ plans to actually stick. So much to do and think about! I’m envious of those who can just shut it off. I have no idea how to do that.

ugh my mind kicks in as soon as it hits the pillow…its a curse i believe because then i dont want to get up and do it…and i will forget it by morning…
Raquel's World says
Or how about when there is just some undane event during your day like you can’t remember the name of that girl from high school and then you go to sleep and at 3am wake up alert as hell because you just remembered her name?

You discovered the secret – wine!
That snow is unbelievable. I’m still twitching from last year’s snow. I hope we don’t get any this year.

I”m one of them b/c I am always so dog tired at the end of the day. However, I do my share of middle of the night waking, so I hate the “stay asleepers!”
