Advice needed!! My Romantic Hubby booked us lunch at the top of the Eiffel Tower for my 40th Birthday! I’m sure he didn’t do it for the HUGE points he will forever be able to hold over my head. So now a fabulous dilemma. Do I throw out my rule of always putting fashion before function?
I think this flowered pretty calls for some strappy heels but my stupid brain says with all that walking in Paris I will just look like a dumb tourist. So here is my question for you! What kind of shoe do I do? Is there any kind of cute flat I can wear with this? Oh what a great problem to have!
Mwah!

For me, I would wait until I got there and then I’d buy a gorgeous pair of heels to go with the dress and then you’ll have the shoes to remind of your trip.

that’s a very lovely dress modern mom! i wouldn’t want to see you in those shoes above with that dress(re:the latest post)…go for the shoes you want for that lunch, then go shopping in Paris after, for a quick change or are you renting a car there? then pack your walking shoes and comfy (more casual) clothes and change then go for a walk:-)
you are very young looking…could pass for 25! Oh, how i love to go to Paris.

Can not wait to hear about your trip! Eat lotsa pain au chocolat and little quiches and french macaroons for me, okay?!

Oh my gosh! I’ve ate at the place! Good news is… it’s packed with tourist so no one will know whether you are or aren’t! Go with the flats, you’ll be walking a lot!

Heels would be stunning, but not very comfortable. What about a low heel if you want a heel? I however vote for cute black flats.

I have no advice for you since I always wear Birkenstocks and will be wearing them in Paris this summer. I think maybe my husband should book our anniversary dinner there!!!

Thanks for the comments.
You will have a blast! The homesickness for my girls and hubby hit me hard about two days before we left. But I pushed on through.
Also, did I mention what a butt-kicking the jetlag gave me? Beware of that and take it easier on the first day, unless you get a full nights rest off the plane first.
