So very true. I tend to think this is an easier concept to grasp when you don’t have the means to create a path. Without certain means that could provide a shielding, you realize your babies will hit a few more road blocks than others, and preparing them is your only option.
And no matter how much we feel we have figured out, the fear of not doing it right always lingers. Always.
That’s what this morning’s pep talk to my youngest was all about. I think she would like me to pave the path, actually and I am trying to help her negotiate one full of sharp pebbles but with a rewarding view at the end of it…great message of wisdom today. Thanks!

I love this! I need to find this and hang it in my living room….sometimes it’s hard to remember that. You want to protect them from everything.
