Window Shopping

Confession:  There are a few things in life that I am not very good at.  One of these is Window Shopping.  When I head out and see something I adore, I pull out the plastic and I CHARGE IT!   Gail Vaz-Oxlade of To Debt Do Us Part would have a field day with me!

One thing I am good at is giving credit where credit is due.  As of late there has been a super sweet blogger leaving lots of comment love on my little piece of the internet and today she asked me to accept an award from her, complete with Meme!  Her blogs name is…. Window Shopping! Love! I don’t usually play along, but this time, I simply must!! 

So here it goes..prepare for way too much information.
1. Sunny, Rainy, or Snowy?

Sun, sun, sun! Sunny weather by the pool and the beach?  Even better! (rain and snow make me more than a little cranky)

2. Is the glass half-full or half empty?

I try so hard for that glass to be half full.  If I have had some sleep, it’s a lot easier to count my many blessings.

3. Have you gone on a leisurely trip this year? Where would you like to travel next?

Leisurely?  NYC for BlogHer was awesome and exhausting.  The trip up north to the cottage pictured above was pretty fantastic, but far too short!  In just a couple of months I am headed to Florida with the family but only for a week! Here’s hoping I find some “leisure” on that whirl wind trip.  Think there is a way to add a Caribbean vacation or European trip to this list?  Doesn’t hurt to dream!

4. Do you love your job?

I am a Social Media Mama wearing about 17 different hats.  Truth, I love it.

5. What’s your most treasured material possession in the world?

My wedding and engagement rings!

6. What’s your favourite reading material? Your favourite author?

I adore reading real books.  I’ve tried to get into e-books but just crave the feel, texture, dare I say smell of a real book?  Fave author…have not found her yet.

7. Do you cook? What’s your favourite food (the one food you can’t live without)?

Sure I cook, just like my Mama I can cook a mean chicken.  Oh and Lasagne, I can rock the pasta!  The food I can’t live without?  Does popcorn and chocolate count? 

8. Which do you prefer, shopping online or at the mall?

I can’t discriminate!  I adore all things shopping!

9. Do you exercise? How often? What’s your favourite form of exercise?

Bah, not like I should.

10. Christmas tree: plastic or real tree?

Real tree and there is always tree drama.  Trees falling down, cats climbing trees, crooked trees, Charlie Brown trees, trees so big they don’t fit in our living room because they are TOO big.  Good times.

11. Do you like to watch news? What’s your favourite news program?

News?  Do TMZ or Entertainment Tonight count?  Pft.  The news programs are too sad, oh wait unless it’s 60 Minutes, 20/20, who did that??? Kind of shows.  Love it when they catch the bad guys.
