Coffee and Donuts. Milk and Donuts. Morning and Donuts. Evening and Donuts. Bacon and Donuts? Why not! There is a super tasty new show premiering on Food Network Canada and it involves, you guessed it, Donuts!! This newest original competition series, Donut Showdown, will premiere on Tuesday, April 2nd at 10pm ET/PT and we will be LIVE tweeting during the show! It’s a #BountyShowdown Twitter Party and we’re inviting you to watch, tweet and party right along with us!
The Donut Showdown will see us meeting three eager competitors who will be asked to create a fried treat using bizarre, creative and top-secret ingredients. At the end of each week, only one will prevail and will walk away with a $10,000 prize. I’m in!! Can you imagine the combinations that are possible with secret ingredients and deep fried goodness? Can you imagine the mess? Good thing Bounty is the Title Sponsor of this amazing show and will be there to help keep things tidy! “Hosted by international food television personality Danny Boome (from The Chew and Recipe Rehab), Donut Showdown features an all-star judges panel, who will decide which fried dessert will make the cut. The judges are Food Network Canada chef David Rocco, culinary expert Maggie McKeown of Recipe to Riches and popular Toronto restauranteur Zane Caplansky.”
Can’t wait! Oh and our prizes for the twitter party are extraordinaire! How about five prizes of a 6-months supply of Bounty, and three prizes of a 1-year supply of Bounty!! You will be able to cook, create and mess to your hearts content!

Twitter parties are fun! A year’s supply of Bounty seems like the perfect excuse to really get into cooking.
