Every once in a while a movie comes along that simply strikes a chord with you. For me, the sweetness that was embodied in Finding Nemo was one of those magical films. A story that captured the attention and hearts of my entire family. From the moment the screen lit up with those brilliant blue oceans to the closing credits that had us all singing “Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming!” on the way out of the theatre, it was just a movie you knew was destined to be a Disney Classic! Finding Nemo made us laugh, cry and had us cheering for the little guy. It was also the movie in which I fell in love…with Dory! (finally, someone with a worse memory then me)
This is why I was so excited to see Disney’s Press Release that they are bringing Dory back, and this time she will be the star of her very own movie!
Disney•Pixar’s “Finding Dory” will Dive into Theatres November 25, 2015!
It is said that “Finding Dory” will take place about a year after the first film and will see the return of all of our favourites. Marlin, Nemo, the Tank Gang and of course the fabulous Ellen DeGeneres as Dory!! Oh I wonder if that wacky pelican will make a guest appearance?!
Director and Pixar veteran Andrew Stanton takes audiences back to the extraordinary underwater world created in the original film. “There is no Dory without Ellen,” said Stanton. “She won the hearts of moviegoers all over the world—not to mention our team here at Pixar. One thing we couldn’t stop thinking about was why she was all alone in the ocean on the day she met Marlin. In ‘Finding Dory,’ she will be reunited with her loved ones, learning a few things about the meaning of family along the way.”
Full on confession time; I can’t wait to see this movie. This time around I will be taking my Hubby, my girls and my SassyNephew too! Family Date night November 25th 2015! Wanna join? xoxo
