Skating for me requires a very strong man (my Hubby to hold me up), those big boards (that I use to stop), and ideally Advil….both before and after. I am clearly not a skating kind of girl. I do however appreciate the beauty, grace and true athleticism required for a full grown being to launch themselves across a frozen piece of water. It’s even more amazing to me that a group of athletes, Olympians and World Champions, can gather all in one place, put their skating to the most fabulous music, and can make a crowd jump to their feet cheering with awe and excitement!
This is the experience I had this past weekend. Thanks to Jergens® I had the opportunity to pack up my SweetGirl and her Bestie and spend an entire afternoon lost in the magic produced by the likes of Kurt Browning, Patrick Chan, Shawn Sawyer, Joannie Rochette and local loves Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir!

They skated, they entertained, they made us laugh and cheer. It was a great family fun afternoon at Budweiser Gardens. Thanks Jergens®!
Pst..are you a skating fan? There are still a few shows left in a few select cities!
Please feel free to add you Wordless Wednesday, our almost Wordless Wednesday post, to my linky and leave me a comment to let me know you were here!

I think that ice skating looks fun and freeing. I’ve never done it, but have always wanted to.

I am amazed at what they can do on this blades of steel. I never could ice skate, I blame it on weak ankles. but I could roller skate, maybe it was the 4 wheels?? Faythe @GMT

I am always in awe at the talent professional skaters have! Like you said – they make it look so easy, but the skill.. man oh man!
That looks like a very wonderful evening 🙂

I bet that was fun to watch. I’ve always admired skaters; they are so graceful and I can hardly push myself across the ice without taking down a few toddlers!

That must have been an incredible show! I can go around in a circle, and that’s about the limit of my skills. 🙂
