My Dear Daughter is a mini me in every way. I was once again reminded of this fact when a pair of Skecher GOWalk shoes landed on my doorstep and was promptly scooped up in a matter of seconds! “Ohh are these for me?” She exclaimed.
Nope, just because you have magically grown feet the same size as your Mama, this does not mean you get access to all of my shoes. Especially these!
Without exaggeration I can honestly say these are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet!! At only 3.6 ounces I was amazed at the cushioning provided by these shoes. They sole has a lightweight, injection-molded compound which provides memory retention. What does this mean? They really might be the lightest and most comfortable walking show available today.
GOimpulse Sensors: Allows foot to respond to various surfaces and promotes natural stride while providing a comfortable durable foundation.
Lightweight 360 Degree Responsive Flexibility: Minimalist Design complimented by synthetic flexible paneling guarantees for a breathable wear.
Integrated OrthoLite Sockliner: Anti-microbial sockliner helps inhibit odor from barefoot wear and prevents slippage.
Resalyte Midsole: Lightweight and effective impact absorption elevates walking experience and reduces pressure on ankle and knee joints.
Now I will admit, I am usually a fashion before function kind of girl. Preferring high heels, and fashion forward shoes over sensible and practical. This is not always smart. I have discovered this is also not a choice you have to make with the new GOWalk Skechers line of shoes. Coming in a variety of colours and styles and after more then a few wears, proving to be very VERY comfortable I was very surprised with the versatility and just plain cuteness of this shoe.
It occurs to me that I may have thrown the word cute around a little too casually above. Cute is not a good way to describe the men’s line of Skechers GoWalk shoes. I would say these are a stylish walking shoe for any man with a little fashion sense. My Hubby received this pair and has already had some fabulous use out of them.
Besides agreeing with me that his feet are instantly comfortable, we are both impressed with the fact with the Ortholite insoles which are there to help inhibit odor. Perfect when you wear these shoes sans socks! Great with jeans, shorts and the best part according to him, no laces. Why, faster to get on an off for the hundreds of times he has to pop in and out of the house and get our girls where they need to go!
Other fab facts about these shoes:
Relaxed Fit Design: Wider shoe base with softer paneling to respond to foot shape and provide a comfortable fit.
Detailed Stitching and Accents: Material overlay and stitching accents adds dimension to the shoe and increases durability.
Light and Durable Sole: With a flexible and shock absorbing midsole and supportive rubber traction sole.
and my fave Removable Memory Foam Lining: High Tech memory lining moulds to your foot and provides the perfect fit.
