The past two weeks have been a blur of deadlines, and airports. Of “to do” lists, germs, colds, nagging headaches, worry and sleepless nights. Of shaking my head, claiming there aren’t enough hours in the day and really wishing I could just catch a nap. (and maybe justify a house cleaner) It’s been a week of far too much complaining on my part when reality is, I truly have nothing to complain about.
One trip away with this incredible group of children, the Champions from The Children’s Miracle Network, re-enforced this in a very big way.
The simple blessing of one simple night at home with my kids. Indulging in chips, dip and a movie filled my heart to overflowing. Thanksgiving followed with some time at the park with my girls, my SassyHubby, Brother In Law and SassyNephew. A nearly perfect way to end a weekend.
This Mama has had a big fat perspective change. Today, I am counting every single one of my blessings and making a promise to myself; I need to strive to live with intention, love every moment. Plan for tomorrow but be so grateful for every single smile and even learn to love the tears.
Thanks for popping by today! Please leave a comment and don’t forget to link up your Wordless or not so Wednesday’s in the linky below!

I am very much in support of this promise to yourself! It sounds like it could bring some peace into the hectic days, and I’m very much inspired to do something similar.

What a great attitude you have. When I am down about something, I have to remind myself that I have a lot to be thankful for. Nice post! 🙂
