If you’re going to be a true ballerina, an authentic Bunhead, you simply must rock the right shoes. Where does one find the elegant foot wear of the choice? At Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto Ontario of course.
Surrounded by all this pretty; my ballerina was treated like royalty and fitted for her very first pair of pointe shoes.
She found the right fit and then stood up on her toes with poise and confidence. That SweetGirl of mine beamed with joy.
Me, well I silently beamed in my own way, and only cried a little bit.
It was one of those days I will never forget…

Now that’s a lot of pointe shoes and I’m wondering where are the laces because I’m thinking they need to stay on and usually they have ribbon or laces. I can’t remember what they call them but they look pretty but they do a number on your feet.
