A flashback to the T-REX Restaurant in Downtown Disney World. Why now? Partly because I have been advising close friends this would be a great spot for an engaging and exciting meal while at Disney, mostly because I can’t wait to head back to Disney World for the Disney Social Media Moms Conference in 28 short days!
The incredible T-Rex Restaurant is ready to wow and take you back more than 200 million years ago for a Jurassic adventure! There are themed rooms with different landscapes, loud creatures squawking from the walls, and a dynamite menu with something to please even the pickiest eater. The T-Rex Restaurant serves up it’s generous size portions on both their lunch and dinner menus. My girls both enjoyed their dining experiences and perhaps the most shocking of all, the service and food were really quite good! SassyHubby and I enjoyed it too!
This poor guy is “trapped”inside the ice cave room. Brilliant.
Fun fact: This restaurant does 7000 covers for diner alone! Unreal.
Helpful Hint: Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance. The T-Rex does also take walk-ups!
After dinner and rooms have been explored, I would recommend you take the time to meander around all of Downtown Disney. Worthy of note: Parts of Downtown Disney are currently under construction as they transform into Disney Springs.
Every time we are at Disney we make a point of stopping in front on this astounding Dragon made entirely of Lego, for a family picture, after all, he’s perched in the water just waiting for us! This picture is from 2009!
Still not tired? Take the time to wander through the many shops and do a little shopping.
Trying on of hats completely optional.

This looks like a very exciting restaurant, kids would love this. My grandson wouldn’t be able to eat, he’s a big dinosaur fan so he’d be looking everywhere except at his plate 🙂
