Every once in a while you are presented with an opportunity you simply have to embrace. While I was preparing to pack my family up for the Disney Social Media Moms Conference I was given such an opportunity; an email with an invitation. Would my little brood be interested in taking part in a “Ride Mount”? Essentially the chance to ride my all time favourite roller coaster in the world, the Rock N Roller Coaster, and have our every move documented along the way. Um, heck yes we would!
So what happens when you have a film crew meet you at 6:30 am at Hollywood Studios in DisneyWorld? First, you shake off the giggles and take in the incredible moment as you realize you have the entire park, practiaclly to yourself.
You then take a deep breath (and wish you had spent just a wee bit more time on hair and make-up because 6:30am is pretty darn early when you were out late with your teens the night before!)
You do your bit for the cameras…
…..and then take the whole crew on the best ride ever; the Rock N Roller Coaster.
Obviously.
Here’s the result of my “Ride Mount”. A few moments with a film crew, then a camera strapped to our ride to help us capture every twist, turn, scream and giggle as my family takes on my favourite roller coaster in the world.
Totally worth the 5:30 am wake up call. Totally.

It was such a different way to be in a park and ride the roller coaster. We won’t soon forget it.
