Fan girl moment!
There is one show my Hubby and I have watched for more years than I can count; The Late Show With David Letterman.
A couple of years ago we were gifted tickets to see the big man himself in person. We dropped everything and headed to the Big Apple for an adventure I will never forget. We toured all that New York City had to offer; we shopped, ate in gourmet restaurants and had bagels from delis, took in the lights of Times Square, ran through museums, and then caught a live taping of The Late Show. This romantic weekend away was more than I ever could have hoped for. What I never could have expected? Being pulled from the audience by David Letterman himself and having my very first five minutes of fame.
We’re going to miss that show. Think now that he’s retired he can come on up to Canada, you know “just to see me”!
Thanks for the memories!
