My name is Stephanie, I’m 44 years old and I own that.
I am Canadian!! (and proud of it) Happy Canada Day, eh!
I’m addicted to travel and a complete hotel snob. I own that too.
My hands shake when I have to do any kind of public speaking.
I am truly directionally challenged. (and forever thankful for my GPS)
I can cook a mean chicken, thanks Mom, but if you want me to bring a dish to a potluck, you’re much better off asking for a dessert. I can get my bake on.
I know Coca Cola is bad for me, but love it anyway.
Popcorn is my favourite meal. Yes, I said meal.
I think spiders are the work of the devil. Shiver.
Migraines are my worst enemy.
I don’t believe in petty gossip.
I understand the struggle between work and family, even though I work from home.
Normally, I’m not good at “tooting my own horn” but I’m going to brag away about these pictures. As of late I’ve been asked for my headshot a lot. Many campaigns I work on require one. I didn’t have a picture I was proud of or one that I thought let my true self shine though; until now. A couple of weeks ago I made a point of getting my picture taken and getting it done right. I hired a professional. I made sure my hair was camera ready, I even had my make-up done. I held my breathe and I full on went for it. I’m so glad I did. Thanks to the magic that is Anita Watkins Photography I finally have a headshot and a couple of candids that I’m sorta proud of. Scratch that, I love them.
Anita took the time to get to know me. She made me feel comfortable, she really got me. (and dare I say she made the process fun!) So here I am: A little bit shy, a little sassy, and someone who is very happy to be exactly where she is.
Not a bad place to be.

I can’t believe you’re 45 you look amazing and I can say that because I’m 46 and I don’t look as good as you. Thanks for sharing, I love how you’re willing to share your faults as well as your positives.

I hear you. Public speaking, directionally challenged, spiders – all dreaded things for me too. Over time my kids have now bought me 2 GPS machines – I couldn’t do without one, as they would all willingly testify to. 🙂
Unfortunately, I don’t like popcorn so I guess I’m not to be trusted ;-). Your photos are gorgeous, I especially like the first one, it was well worth having a professional take the shots.
