New York City.
It’s loud, crazy, maybe even a little scary? However, if you know where to go it may also be one of the most romantic places on earth. With only one weekend to explore, can you get to all the hot spots and make some memories to last a lifetime? Yes you can. With a good map, some fabulous shoes and a little help from CityPASS I present to you my picks for the 5 most romantic places in New York City. Hers’ how to squeeze it all in and enjoy every second!
Step one. Order your official New York CityPASS. This will save you time (think front of the line everywhere) and money!
Step two. Start exploring the Five Most Romantic Places In New York City.
Number 5: The Statue Of Liberty.
There’s something quite humbling about taking the scenic boat cruise out of the harbour and approaching the iconic Statue of Liberty. Hand in hand you and your loved one, you can reflect on the thousands of people who journeyed to the United States of America, aching to make it their new home and carve out new lives for themselves. Then count your own blessings as you take a selfie or two and visit this remarkable site.
Number 4: Central Park.
Seen in countless movies and in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle to the honking horns of the city, Central Park is a place to indulge in a quiet walk to Bow Bridge, a serene escape to have a picnic for two, or perhaps indulge in a classic carriage ride under a cozy blanket and watch the world go by.
Number 3: The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Treat yourself and enjoy an afternoon perusing some of the greatest artwork ever created. With collections spanning more than 5,000 years of culture from prehistory to the present it’s an inspiring way to spend your day.
Number 2: Times Square. The place where the city feels most alive! The lights, the people, the broadway shows. The famous local where that ball drops every New Years Eve, and where you truly begin to understand this city never sleeps. It will make you dizzy and take your breath away.
Number 2 1/2 (yes I’m sneaking in one more) Bryant Park
Located between Fifth and Sixth Avenue, Bryant Park is an oasis in the middle of Manhattan. Boasting sweet little artisan shops year round and skating in the winter, there may not be a better place to just stroll, grab a coffee and a treat, explore and perhaps pick up a souvenir for those back home.
Number 1: The Empire State Building.
How many of as teen girls watched “Sleepless in Seattle” and dreamt of meeting their man at the top of that building. Waving wildly! The only thing that rivals the view from the bottom, is the view from the top! Both day and night perspectives offer stunning views of the city. A trip to the top of the Empire State Building, it’s a must.
Walking the streets of New Yorks City, taking in the sites and sounds, doing a little shopping, indulging in the restaurants and just getting lost together. That’s my recipe for a perfectly romantic weekend in New York City. Hope you have the chance to explore it soon!

I’d love to New York but without my husband because in his mind a romantic night is him giving me the remote to the TV for an hour.
