Back in “the day” (and yes I can say that because I’ve been at this blogging thing for more than 7 years), we used to do this silly little thing where we found fun memes and filled them in. It helped to get our creative juices flowing, open up about ourselves, and let our readers into our worlds. Today, I decided to resurrect that fun tradition with the Lucky Eight. Some simple questions that are going to give you a little too much information about me and hopefully inspire you to play along. So without further ado, here are my answers, hope to see some of yours in the near future!
8 Things I am Looking Forward to:
1. That next vacation. Always. I think it’s time to book a flight somewhere warm! Where to? I don’t know but I’m open to suggestions!
2. Date night with Romantic Hubby. A roaring fire and a good chic flick are in order. Stat.
3. Taking the girls to see Marianas Trench. Actually, I’m maybe more excited about this than I should be? I’m also thinking that when I picked up those tickets to Justin Bieber for the girls, I should have picked up just one more for me. Wow. That is all.
4. Our next vacation to Florida. You can’t go wrong with sunshine and palm trees.
5. Watching my Girl kill it on the volleyball court next weekend!
6. New kitchen counter tops. Yup, what’s a true sign that you are old? When you are excited about new kitchen counters.
7. The first dance recital of the year. My youngest dances 5 times a week. I can’t wait to see what her team has been working on.
8. Summer. I know it seems like a long way off, but this snow can’t stick around forever. And this summer means pool days, cottage life and the dream trip to Italy that we’ve been dreaming about for YEARS.
8 Things I did Yesterday:
1. Fought with 3 piles of laundry and won. Glamorous.
2. A Twitter Party about travel. Were you there? Love Twitter parties!
3. Cleaned up dog puke. Living the life I tell ya. What did that damn dog eat?
4. Drove my girls to school because the school bus did not show up. Again.
5. Bought two more bags of dog food. (at 8 cups a day this Great Dane pup goes through a lot of kibble!)
6. Drank copious amounts of coffee. God bless the person who invented coffee.
7. Missed a call from my girlfriend because I don’t seem to have time to breathe.
8.Made a “To-Do list” of 15 things I had to get done, then added Call Bus Company, Clean Kitchen, and Look at Villas in Rome just so I could scratch them off the list. I’m tricky like that.
8 Things I wish I could do:
1. Magically lose 10 pounds. Snap.
2. Arrange for Starbucks to be delivered. Like every day. Wouldn’t that be brilliant?
3. Get over my irrational fear of the dentist.
4. Find just 1 more hour in every day.
5. Eradicate all the mean girls of the world. Poof!
6. Speak another language ohh or if my SassyHubby spoke another language? HAWT!
7. Not give a damn what other people thought.
8. Take another photography class.

I you think you watch to much TV then you need to see my because it puts yours to shame. Some nights I have shows from 8 pm – 2 am which is 6 shows but most nights I have at least 4 shows, thankfully I have a PVR and time shift. I’m with you on James Cordon, he’s hilarious and an awesome singer, I love his show.

What a fun post. I don’t watch a lot of tv. I do watch criminal minds, although there has been the odd one that freaked me out enough I said no way and turned it off. I love ellen, but rarely watch it. I too would like to poof off 10 pounds. I can’t wait for summer, although winter seems to have missed us, weirdest winter I recall. Have a great week ahead!
