I have a confession, this may be one of my very favourite times of year. Most certainly not because of the weather. We know it’s not because I adore that we are smack dab in the middle of the school year, but because what lays in front of us is spring and the promise of all that comes with it! As winter finally gives us its last chilly blast, and the flowers make their first desperate attempt to pop up in the garden, you can start to feel the change in the air; it’s almost electric! Spring means so many exciting things. For us; there are travel plans, the joy of Easter, and a small renovation in the works. Spring is a time of renewal and we’re ready to banish the winter blues and welcome this spring with a big warm hug.
It’s well known I’m a Mama who adores a good list. So what better time than spring to sit down with paper and pen, whip out your calendar and just plan? First up, it’s time to start looking forward to Easter Weekend. This year we have a new baby in the family, my SassyNiece will celebrate her first Easter surrounded by family traditions and those who love her most. Could there be anything sweeter? After the Easter festivities are complete, then we can move onto that kitchen. It’s kind of an eyesore and I’ve already started dreaming. Dreaming of morphing this kitchen horrifically stuck in the 80’s into something much more contemporary and functional. Then, and only then, when all the work is done, the plan is to escape the suburbs with a little travel of course! I firmly believe travel is great for families and good for the soul.
I’m looking forward to celebrating a quiet family Easter, tackling that reno, and then booking a weekend away. I’m blessed to have the time, the energy and a Hubby who listens to and indulges in my crazy plans. But I also know it’s important to make sure all my ducks are in a row to ensure all of these things are possible! Top of mind, always, is to confirm my family is safe, protected and covered. You never know what life may throw your way. When I’m making my lists this spring, one thing that will be included this year is to sit down with my Hubby and have a wee chat. It’s always a good idea to review all the house paperwork at least once a year. It’s one of those grown-up things we have to do. We want to know our home insurance policy is up-to-date before making any changes to the house and make sure our home insurance policy still fits our growing and changing needs. Have you done this lately? Don’t stress about shopping around for the right home insurance coverage, let PC insurance save you valuable time and have them do the comparison shopping for you. They consult up to seven different insurance companies to find the best quote for you! It’s never been easier to get a home or auto insurance quote. You can call in and chat with a representative, or even complete an online quote. PC home insurance is available in Ontario, Alberta, New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland & Labrador.
Big bonus! Purchasing PC home insurance is also rewarding! When you pay for your home insurance premium using your President’s Choice Financial MasterCard or no fee bank card you’ll earn TWO TIMES the regular PC points! Those points add up fast.
When looking ahead to the sunny days of summer, nothing is more important than making sure you’re also prepared for any of the rainy days that spring, or your old house, may decide to throw your way. PC insurance has you covered for all your insurance needs and they will deliver value for all the important things in life. It’s just smart thinking to get coverage for your biggest investment for your family, your home.
