Planning a trip to Walt Disney World? There are some incredible reasons to consider staying on-site and taking advantage of every extra magical minute. We’ve recently returned from Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, held in Orlando Florida, where we had the incredible pleasure of staying at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. This property is a deluxe resort in the thick of it all and is neatly tucked in between Disney’s Yacht Club and Epcot. Although this resort shares many amenities with Disney’s Yacht Club, the Beach Club has a more casual, coastal feel. With it’s incredible location, and staggering number of room choices it may just be the perfect place to stay for that next family vacation. A place to call home as you create new blissful family traditions.
What We Adored:
The Rooms: Spacious, clean and classic. Each room can easily sleep up to five adults in two Queen size beds and an additional day bed. Many rooms, as the one reviewed here, had a large verandah overlooking the woods. Perfection. The separate shower and powder room areas allowed getting ready and out the door in the morning a snap, even for three women needing their time in front of the mirror! The beds were comfy, the coffee maker worked like a charm, and the mini-fridge in the room proved to be invaluable as we stocked it full of juices, waters, soda, fruit and snacks.
Location: Disney’s Beach Club Resort is located within walking distance to Epcot, just a 10 minute stroll down a large path by the lake, and an easy and relaxed boat ride to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Wifi: Complimentary and easily accessible at both at the resort and at all Disney Parks!
The Beachside Water Recreation Area: Stormalong Bay is a three acre water wonderland! Complete with an enormous pool, a lazy river, countless pool chairs, and three whirlpool spas this recreation area is the perfect place to unwind and recharge after a hot afternoon in the parks. For the more energized, the kiddie pool offers excitement with it’s unique waterslide.
Quieter pools can also be found throughout the property. Beyond being a perfect spot to read a book, they were nearly empty every time we strolled by. A nearly private pool experience at a luxury resort. Divine.
Lafferty Place Arcade: Featuring classic arcade games that are fun for the whole family. A perfect place for the kids (and Dad!) to spend some time and unleash their competitive spirits.
The Bikes: TheSurrey Bikes to be exact. Choose to rent a 2, 4 or 6 person Surrey Bike and head out on an adventure! A giggle inducing way to explore the entire Boardwalk area and beyond.

Where to eat:
There are plenty of options right on site at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, including 24 hour room service. Some of our favourites at this resort include:
Beach Club Marketplace: Open from 7am to 12am there’s no better place to grab a quick bite or coffee before you hit the parks, or late night snacks as you drag your tired feet back to your beautiful room.
The Beaches & Cream Soda Shop: This old-fashioned soda fountain serves up some of the very best ice cream at Disney World. Insider Tip: One trip to this ice cream shop will never be enough, the treats here are rich, creamy and delicious.
Crew’s Cup Lounge: This restaurant may be known for their crab cakes, clam chowder and lobster rolls, but our recommendation? The burgers cooked medium-well with a side of fries, mayo not optional!
What you should know:
This resort is closest to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Although there is easy to catch bus transportation to The Magic Kingdom and The Animal Kingdom, do keep in mind that it will take a little longer to transfer to these Theme Parks.
Disney’s Beach Club is a massive resort. Grab your FitBit because you will get your steps in!
If you are a light sleeper request rooms that do not adjoin others, or a room that has a woods view. These rooms may be further from the lobby but are very quiet.
If you are looking for a resort in a fabulous location that exudes elegance and charm, look no further than Disney’s Beach Club Resort at Walt Disney World.
