Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. Mark Twain
Reflecting back on the tiny bistros, the chic store fronts, the cobblestone walks and the winding streets of Paris.
Pondering the many reasons I travel, the reasons I feel compelled to show my girls the world.
Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall. I don’t care the season, I just hope to get back there one day and show this corner of the world to my little people one day.
If I can’t show them, I hope they have the chance to find out for themselves; the culture, the romance, the mystique that is Paris.
I hope one day they know the feeling it is to be in love with a city they have never met, and they find it’s even better than they could have ever dreamed.
Please be a traveler, not a tourist. Try new things, meet new people, and look beyond what’s right in front of you. Those are the keys to understanding this amazing world we live in. Andrew Zimmern

I spent a week in Paris with my daughter, her French fiancee (now husband) and his parents. It was amazing and the architecture is fabulous. They also got married in a chateau in Paris so I made another trip, fantastic.

I’ve never been to Paris, but one of the things I noticed when traveling was how much older everything was than it is here.

I hope to get back there someday. I’m in Florida right now and my brother in law just got back on Saturday. He went to London and Paris for two weeks with his granddaughter before she starts her 6 week college class in France. I’m reliving the memories with him.
