Apparently it’s Fall. I say apparently, because I think Mother Nature is still on her Summer vacation! I’ve been blissfully soaking up these last few days of sunshine, knowing that soon enough, I will be moaning and complaining that Old Man Winter has come to stay. How does a Mama prepare for this dreadful change in the weather? She goes shopping of course! Not wanting to give up any of those last moments of outside I did what any savvy shopper would do, I jumped on-line at Sears.ca (maybe in my pyjamas ……don’t judge) and I got down to business. Fuzzy slippers, red wine, (fake) roaring fire because it’s still hot out and Sears.ca.
You won’t believe the deals I found!
I started my shopping ..well for the house. Maybe not the most exciting, but after 20 years of marriage I kind of feel like I almost need another Bridal Shower. Do you know what I mean? Some of the lovely things in my home need a re-fresh. A few things I put on my wish list include:

I would buy a pair of boots. They had some great leather boots in the last flyer I received, both short and tall but with low heels which is what I need. And they also carry the Columbia winter boots that I need to replace my old ones. I haven’t quite decided which pair yet, either a black stylish pair, or the Columbia ones, but no matter what I will spend this on boots! 🙂

We are buying new furniture for our living room (finally!) and I’d like to get an area rug to cozy up the room. I’m liking the DEBBIE TRAVIS ‘Natural Diamond’ Area Rug but would definitely need a sale or a gift card to spend that much on a rug!
