Are you ready to plan that next summer vacation, but don’t know where to start? Maybe this is the year you should stay a little closer to home and explore the beauty that exists right in your own back yard. Blogger and Author Jody Robbins is here to help. Just in time for summer Jody has created the ultimate guide for families looking to discover our expansive country with their little ones. It’s a gorgeous book worthy of a spot on your favourite book shelf, stuffed full of tips and tricks for travel, and of course that list of ultimate family friendly places that we all must visit when exploring this incredible country of ours.
Jody has pulled together 25 of Canada’s best family-friendly destinations and compiled in-depth profiles for each. This list is bound to inspire the perfect family road trip. Here are just a few of the places I’ve now added to my “Travel Bucket List”:

Churchill, Manitoba– To take an arctic safari in a Tudra Buggy. How cool is that?
Dinosaur Provincial Park – Canada’s very own Jurassic Park. It’s a thing!
Nova Scotia’S Lighthouse Route – Peggy’s Cove is calling my name.
Quebec City – During Carnival to take in some of that magic!
What I loved about this book:
Sections included notes on worthy side trips, practical tips on getting around, fun facts that you never might have known, and a “Taste” section advising you on where to eat.
The pictures are amazing.
You don’t have to read from front to back. You can flip from section to section, or start in the city or area that interests you the most.
The very practical and real advice offered in the back of the book. From Money-Saving Tips to Making Mealtimes Manageable, to Finding Couple Time while travelling with your family.
Oh and of course the fact that I helped provide a tip or two for the book! Thanks for the acknowledgement Jody, it was an honour to be a tiny bit of help in the writing of your beautiful book.

Love to own the book. Dinosaur Provincial Park is amazing. My nephew took us there when I visited him in Brooks a few years back. We did a road trip with the grandchildren to Drumheller a couple of summers ago and I was amazed at the amount time we spent at the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Canada does have a lot to offer.
