Sometimes the world is more interesting if you look at it from a different perspective.
Or so I’ve been told.
I’m just wrapping up a glorious week of travel with my youngest daughter. It was a whirlwind trip, in part, to celebrate her 16th birthday. We toured through Los Angeles walked until our feet ached, got a wee bit sunburnt at the local beaches, wandered into a couple of sketchy areas where we clearly did not belong, but only got really lost one time. We were adventurous, ticked things off that travel bucket list, and yes, just about wore out the VISA. Warning; the shopping is good! What would I change about this trip? My only wish is that the other half of my family could have joined us. I guess we will have to go back! Until next time LA! Keep it crazy!
Picture shot at LACMA Lights display, a must see while in LA. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is prominently located on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile vicinity of Los Angeles. LACMA is on Museum Row, adjacent to the amazing La Brea Tar Pits. LACMA is the largest art museum in the western United States.

I’m so excited to take my daughters on trips like this as they get older! Our trips at this age are a lot shorter than the ones we’ll take later. I’ve never seen anything like this lamp art!
