Breath stolen. As your feet slowly sink into the powder soft sand, your stress begins to melt away and with each lap of the warm ocean water, you find yourself more and more relaxed. It’s at this moment that you realize you’ve stepped into a living, breathing postcard, it’s finally happened, you’ve found your island paradise.
Allow me to introduce you to Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Village and Spa.
Located along world-renowned Grace Bay Beach on the Caribbean beach island Providenciales lies Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Village and Spa. The resort is nestled on twelve miles of stunning, white-sand beach and along ocean waters that are the most surreal shades of turquoise, emerald green, and blue. Beaches Resorts is an incredible resort for a family vacation but this time my Hubby and I were spoiled in a different way; here are just Seven Ways To Enjoy Beaches Turks and Caicos Village Resort Village and Spa without the kids:
Oh, my word the beach. Yes, this is one of the best beaches in the world for playing on with your kiddos, but it’s also a crazy gorgeous spot to snorkel, Snuba, read a book, have a drink, soak up the sun and take a long romantic walk for two. Sigh, can we go back now, please?
Late Night Dinners For Two:

This resort has a whopping 22 dining options and with an entire week to explore, a couple can take the challenge to try and eat at every single one. From the gourmet Mac & Cheese Truck, to Neptunes for seafood, Kimonos for Asian cuisine, Arizona’s for Southwest cuisine, to SKY the adults only resto with a view that will make your jaw drop, there is most certainly a new place to explore every single day. When traveling without children the biggest decision of your day may be to decide which restaurant to try next. One unexpected bonus about traveling as a couple, all the little people go to bed early and it feels like you have the entire resort to yourself. Insider Tip: If you are looking for the ultimate in romance be sure to book a private candlelit dinner for two served right on the beach.
The Key West Pool:
Each village on the property has their very own pool area as well as some “secret” pools dotted here and there. I love all the pools for various reasons, but the pool area in the Key West Village is my hands down favourite. This gradual entry pool is one of the quietest places to soak up the sun and has a stunning view of the ocean. Perfection.
The Characters:
As you wander from place to place it’s not unusual to see Elmo or Big Bird out for a stroll. These huggable characters may be wandering around to entertain the kids but even grown-ups can use a hug from Abby Cadabby or a smooch from Cookie Monster!
The Water Sports:
Included in your all-inclusive stay are the use of water bikes, Hobie cats, stand up paddle boards, snorkeling gear and twice daily snorkeling trips, glass bottom boat rides, scuba diving for certified divers, as well as, (for an additional fee), a PADI Discover Scuba course, and a PADI Scuba Dive Certification and children’s scuba programs. Whew! As a couple traveling without children, you can choose to do it all or nothing at all.
Pay It Forward:

A vacation for two doesn’t mean it has to be all about you. Beaches Resorts continues it’s amazing partnership with the Sandals Foundation and provides guests with the opportunity to volunteer while on vacation. While on this latest trip I had the incredible opportunity to pay it forward by assisting in the rejuvenation of a local primary school that was ravaged by Hurricane Matthew. Future visitors can help by participating in the School Specialty, Inc. / Pack for a Purpose program. This partnership will further assist travelers to Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts, who wish to bring along much-needed supplies for the resort company’s locally-supported schools in the Caribbean.
The Spa:
Couples Massage for two! The Red Lane Spa utilizes some of its very own products while treating you like royalty. Among treatments offered is the ‘Scents of Love’ Couples Massage. Go ahead, indulge in massages, mani/pedi’s or facials with the one you love most, you deserve it.
All of this plus nightly entertainment, belly laughs in the X-Box lounge, quiet movies in your room, early coffees on the patio, and late evening swims. Seven days, one glorious beach, unlimited time to connect. Yes, Beaches Resorts and Spa really can be a perfect getaway for your family or for your family of two. If you are looking for a week away at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world make sure you take a look at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Village and Spa.

I have always wanted to go to a Beaches resort. Hubby and I haven’t had a vacation in almost 10 years. This would be a really nice place to get away to.

Wish we could afford a getaway for just the two of us! We do try to go at least for an overnight a couple times a year — staycation for two!!

Wow… the pictures are so beautiful! I would love to take a trip just hubby and I. But the last time we did, we kept saying to each other “Oh, the kids would have loved this”…Maybe when they are older we’ll go somewhere without them…

Oh I won’t lie, I still found myself feeling a wee bit guilty – but I also know I have to keep our marriage at the forefront so gave myself a break and leaned in 🙂

Count me in! Your pictures are so helpful…..much better than looking at a travel mag as you have been there! We love all inclusive resorts and this lovely place seems to have so much to offer. It has been several years since we have ventured south for a vacation like this, and now we are seriously considering this location. Would be interested in becoming SCUBA certified….a dream come true for both hubby and myself!

Thanks so much for your comment! This was my 5th trip to this resort and I recommend it without hesitation. If you have any questions at all please do reach out! 🙂

Wow! This looks like an amazing resort! I’ve often wondered about Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Village and Spa, and after your post, I believe it may just be what we are looking for! My favourites…..the secret pools and twenty-two dining options! Perfect! Thanks so much for sharing!

Oh my goodness you’re most welcome. I adore this resort – it’s safe, lux, and family friendly. Please, let me know if you have any questions at all. I’d love to help!

I have to tell you I’ve looked at the options in Turks and didn’t pull the trigger because I couldn’t find an all-inclusive I liked. There don’t seem to be many? I didn’t think of Beaches because I thought it was only about the families. I’m going to have to go back and look again.
Stephanie says
Karin, I completely understand. From my research, I would have to agree that there are not a lot of all-inclusive in Turks and Caicos – especially at this level. Please do let me know if you have any questions at all. I’d love to help!

So torn! On one hand I want to go back to Europe and go on more adventures and see all the things, but then I see pics like these and we’ve never been on a sunny vacation before…relaxing sounds kind of amazing.
Love the volunteering part…(impressive, no ladder!)
Stephanie says
I do understand this struggle! We had a similar one when approaching our next trip. I finally asked my kids. Do you want to tour, travel explore on our next trip (back to Italy) or sit on the beach for a week and breath? My girls need to breath so to the beach we go!
And the ladder, yes. LOL There was one eventually, we just had to share. 🙂
Jay M says
Oh good! There was a ladder 🙂 Painting on just a chair is difficult 🙂
