The days run together in a rush, So much to do, so little time.
I keep telling myself I will be more thankful, complain less, live int the moment. It’s hard right?
Today I found a teeny, tiny way to be thankful for the little things…
I woke up with a groan and rolled over.
I really didn’t want to get out of bed.
Why is our house so freaking cold?
So. Bone. Tired.
Peeled my eyelids open.
Blinked.
Desperately tried to focus on the alarm clock. ( I swear the numbers on that clock are getting smaller.)
Huh?
It is only 4:12am!
Actually giggled out-loud to myself…I get to sleep for three more hours!
Sigh.
Sometimes you just have to celebrate the little things.

That is exactly right Stephanie! At the moment I’m glad when it’s not raining and temperature gets about 20 C, it’s not been a great summer for us this year and winter is just around the corner, sigh!

oh I wish I could I’m usually up by 5! But, I love how quiet it is and peaceful and I get a lot done on the computer.. I have time to play some games and if they are really packing on the sleep I start housework..sweeping, mopping..dusting..things I can do mostly quietly!
