He’s the man who will skip his beloved golf game to see his daughter compete in high jump. The Dad who will sit through three hours of dance to catch a wee glimpse of his youngest in her three minute ballet routine. A dedicated Father who takes his turn at carpool, ride the scariest of roller coasters so they don’t have to do it alone, and leaves enough energy in his tank to help teach his oldest “baby” to drive. He works hard, he plays harder. He takes them on adventures, and takes me along for the ride. He is their protector and their number one fan. I hope my girls know how truly blessed they are. My SassyHubby, he’s the best Daddy I could have ever asked for my children, and there are not enough words or ways to thank him for all he has done and continues to do for his girls….all three of us.
So this Father’s Day we will celebrate with a lot of little things. We will let him sleep in. Create a breakfast fit for a King. Then spoil him with tiny gifts of love to try and show him how much he is cherished. After dinner of his choice, we will celebrate with the sweetest of cakes. An indulgent ice cream cake from Baskin-Robbins!
Can you even believe this is a cake? All flash and fun on the outside, and chocolate chip cookie dough ice-cream on the inside, this beauty is sure to be a hit! I picked flavours and a style I knew my SassyHubby would enjoy. (and no work for me!) There were so many flavours to choose from! You can connect with Baskin-Robbins Canada on Twitter or Facebook to find a style or flavour that speaks to you, or him! #DadsFavFlav
